sundog - my god it's beautiful!
Was photographing birds this morning when I noticed this Halo with Sundog developing over the river. I changed my focus very quickly 😃 This was a first for me.@BlacksWeather @ottriverkeeper #Sundog #halos #Dec11 pic.twitter.com/qnI7CEfYBD— Harry Foster (@harry_fosters) December 11, 2017
Thanks. No, it is the sun and the effect is called a Solar Halo. The ice crystals responsible for halos are typically suspended in cirrus or cirrostratus clouds high (5–10 km, or 3–6 miles) in the upper troposphere, but in cold weather they can also float near the ground.— Harry Foster (@harry_fosters) December 11, 2017

TIP #Sake Up
Take up a new sport... knife tossing sounds dangerous yet handy... HOW do you do it?
p.s. If you practice often...it should take about a month to learn and a lifetime to master.

free gift: you won't like it
What if the best holiday gift you can give someone is to pry their phone from their hands and forcibly delete both Twitter and Facebook?
(Hey, social media is probably just a passing fad anyway.)
...countless journalists have deleted their accounts, removed the apps from their phone, or simply walked away from the world of social media.

New WSJ Report Claims Saudi Crown Prince Is Real Buyer of $450.3M Leonardo
A day after the New York Times identified the buyer of “Salvator Mundi” as an obscure Saudi prince, the Wall Street Journal claims he was merely serving as a proxy for the country’s crown prince. SOURCE
Benjamin Sutton writes ...if MBS was indeed the buyer, his decision to loan it to the newly opened Louvre Abu Dhabi makes sense within the context of Saudi Arabia’s rapprochement with the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE).
